“First of all, I have to say that being a part of the prayer line is a great opportunity to practice the prophetic. I am very new to this, and I really love getting the words. They were so accurate and just for directions in my life. In practicing it, you know to give words to other people.” Linda thought for anyone that is new to the prophetic, after receiving their prophetic word, be given a moment to confirm the degree of accuracy and validity of the words spoken over their life. Linda agrees with Martiele’s teaching for everyone, including Linda herself. Martiele suggested pressing in, reading the bible, and praying more before joining in on the prayer line. Linda remarks, “It is a wonderful teaching and a great opportunity. Martiele, you have been so inspiring. Thank you.”

“I truly believe that God Almighty put Martiele and her Ministry in my life. When I was introduced to the Prayer line, I was in a terrible, lonely, and desperate time of my life. It gave me hope when I absolutely had none. I was prayed for and given words of wisdom. My favorite part of the Prayer line is the one on one ministry. I have learned so much about myself, and my relationship with the Lord through these teachings. It has become a wonderful part of my life. I know that is has been through their prayers, that I have been offered serenity.”

A few years ago, I was at the nadir of my life, in a bit of depression and hiding from everyone. In what you might call a divine intervention, I met someone and they asked me if I was a Christian. I said that I was, and they asked if I had ever been baptized. I told them that I honestly wasn’t sure, because I would’ve been a baby if and when it happened. I told them that I was a Roman Catholic. They suggested that I get truly baptized. I was told that I should go and speak with a pastor. I went to see a pastor and spent hours with him. We became very good friends. It was a big change for me, as I had been a Catholic for over 70 years. I was given books to read, and also asked if I wanted to get on the prayer line. I listened to it twice, and I told them that there was absolutely no way I could possibly pray like they did. If you wanted me to say the Our Father, Hail Mary, the Apostle Creed and all those memorized prayers, I could pray them. I used to say them all the time. When I heard the way they would pray, I would say that it is impossible. It seemed impossible. I spent many years in school learning my vocation, and I am very proficient in it. I felt like an infant when I heard those powerful prayer intercessors on the prayer line. I resisted getting on. A few months ago I was prodded and prodded by another person who became a mentor. I still resisted. I was stretched, pressed and pushed. Finally I got the nerve to get on. I would spend a few hours in prayer and preparation prior to the prayer line. In fact, every night that I get on, I spend at least two hours prior getting my thoughts together and reading the word. Eventually it seemed a bit easier. Sometimes even when I have notes, when I start to read, words start coming out of my mouth that weren’t on the paper. You carry on because you become inspired and the Holy Spirit is in you. Your lips move and your tongue makes noise, but it is not you. It is an amazing experience. I think my initial resistance to joining the prayer line was because I worked in a profession that required precision and almost perfection all the time. I felt that I wasn’t interested and there was no way I could possibly pray. However it is the persistence of the people on the prayer line who are anointed and are excellent teachers that have the mercy of the Lord in them. By letting new people come in, teaching them and activating them, they prove this to be true. Now let’s talk about prophecy. In the beginning I would say, “Forget about prophecy. I mean prayer was difficult enough. How could I possibly take part in prophecy?” Initially I would write down some notes. All of a sudden I started seeing words that appeared like real images. I was afraid, even embarrassed to actually say these words. I would hear somebody prophesy and it would be exactly what I wanted to say. So now I jump in and it is truly amazing. You always hear a few people saying the same thing that you had written down. Maybe they were different words, but they were the same ideas. Now I pray to Father God, to the Holy Spirit, and to the Lord. I can finally say I have a personal relationship, which I never experienced for 73 years prior to joining the prayer line. I must say thank you to the prayer line, and to the many people who brought me to the Lord and mentored me along the way. Thank you Lord for allowing me to being able to pray. I get on the Prayer line as often as I can and Praise the Lord and it is all to His Glory. Amen.

I did not know much about the prophetic gifts available to me, enrolling in the Ministering Spiritual Gifts class provided me with the ability to learn about these gifts and be open to receive them.

“My name is Hanna and I’m from North Carolina. I was going to share that I attended 3 classes last week and I’ve been ministered to in an incredible way. Everything that was spoken about my life was true. I believe that the people ministering to me were hearing God’s heart. When I heard their words, it gave me hope. The kind of hope to know just how faithful God is and how much he loves me. I know there is a future for me, and it was spoken over me in Jeremiah 29:11, “I know the plans I have for you, plans of hope and a future.” The class on valuing honor was very enlightening. It reminded me of how important it is to honor others, especially those in authority over me regardless of whether or not I agree with them. I know that God is testing my heart, and I will reap what I sow. This will remind me to be a light for Jesus at all times.”

Diana Green- California “Tonight’s teaching was perfect for me, as it was a continuation of what I felt the Holy Spirit had me read this morning. Luke 6:28: “Bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.” I had been praying that my thoughts, words and deeds would be pleasing to the Lord. After reading this morning, I caught myself thinking about a situation I have had going on for about 16 months now. Often we may feel justified when someone is doing something wrong to us, and yet I believe the right way is to cover it like Shem and Japheth did with Noah. Today I clearly saw that this is my test. Not just with this specific situation, but with all situations. I see now that even when I am upset with someone, I must not only bless then in my prayers, but refrain from talking about it…even in my own thoughts. It is amazing what God will do when your heart is in the right place.”
